


Trauma Relief Yoga Therapy Session
Almost everyone has experienced some form of trauma, whether physically or emotionally. However, with all traumatic events, both the physical body and brain experience and store the traumatic event until the body can fully release. This session will be hand tailored for your long term yoga therapy commitment. We will begin the session with an in depth conversation of your trauma event(s) and discuss your goals for trauma relief yoga therapy. Each session is tailored to your specific goals and abilities. There is no mental preparation needed as this experience is filled with fun and and light heartedness! The session will include a light movement exercise using techniques developed to prepare the body for core stress relief, a core stress release practice at your level of comfort, a recommended weekly practice to target key areas based on your goals then ending the session with a luxurious Yoga Nidra meditation with sound bath to infuse full body relaxation with your Sankalpa (your positive affirmation).
